Step-Up Account

The Step-Up Account from Mashreq puts you in charge of your savings plans. The higher your balance, the higher the rate of interest it earns with the flexibility to conduct your transactions, pay bills or transfer funds while continuing to earn returns.

The benefits of the Step-Up account include:

• Flexibility and transaction capability of a regular account with the benefit of a high interest bearing capital guaranteed account. 
• Ability to use your VISA Debit card for purchases around the world 
• Ability to withdraw or transfer your funds at any time
• Ability to use your Step-Up account to pay your bills through our online banking services or through one of our ATM's

The interest schedule for the Step-Up Account is based on deposit tiers

• 0.25% per annum for a balance between BD300 and BD999
• 0.5% per annum for a balance between BD1,000 and BD2,499
• 1.5% per annum for a balance between BD2,500 and BD10,000
• 2.00% per annum for a balance above BD10,000
